Megat Sharizal

Tonight we had a man who’s an actor, director and producer, Megat Sharizal. With about a decade’s worth of experience, Megat Sharizal is a real workhorse of Malaysian talent on whatever platform he wishes to be.

Megat started off trying acting in his college days, citing the stage was his first love. Over the years as a director, Megat has created a portfolio lined with six directing roles in theatre, another six for telemovies and three short films. It all range from the well-loved Projek Disko Baldi skit to the local favourite Aku, Dia & Tong Sampah.

As an actor, his name is on 12 different productions stretching the silver screen to theatre stage. Megat is one of the founders for the local production house Playground Productions. In 2014, Playground released the award winning local hit-movie Terbaik Dari Langit, staging Megat as an actor and producer for the movie.

Megat played as Ali for TDL, a role where he had to gain 15kgs to look the part. He went over to Jakarta earlier last week for the ASEAN Day Movie screening for TDL. The movie scored Best Film and Best Actor awards at the ASEAN International Film Festival and Awards 2015

For the record, Megat scored _!
