In 2022, roughly 460 Terawatt hours were consumed globally by data centers and that figure could double by 2026, equal to that of Japan’s entire electricity use. With utility companies standing to benefit significantly from datacenter electricity demand. Will Malaysian utility companies stand to benefit too?
