首相安华在接受美国时代周刊专访时表示，他已经邀请伊斯兰党加入团结政府并且成为成员，虽然伊党没有给予任何回复，但安华认为目前的政治气氛需要一段时间冷静。对于安华邀伊党加入团结政府，民主行动党秘书长陆兆福拒谈相关课题。作为国盟成员的民政党主席刘华才却质问安华的建议是否得到民主行动党支持。
