The Need for Transparency in Malaysia Terbaru

After almost a week of political upheaval, Bersatu President Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin has been sworn in as the eighth Prime Minister of Malaysia. Cynthia Gabriel, Human Rights Advocate at the Centre to Combat Corruption and Cronyism (C4), addresses the potential impact of the new government on the ongoing court cases related to 1MDB and other issues, the appointment of the new Attorney General and the deficit in public trust in the government. We also hear from a few of our listeners, some of whom are positive about this week's political changes.
