With less than an hour before Bersatu President Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin is sworn in as the eighth Prime Minister, the MPs’ statutory declarations (SDs) in support of the next Prime Minister have been called into question. Constitutional lawyer Surendra Ananth shares his insights into the weight of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong’s decision with regard to these SDs.
