Maintaining Economic Growth for Malaysia

Weeks of political upheaval have resulted in Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin being sworn in as the eighth Prime Minister. We speak with Calvin Cheng, Economics, Trade and Regional Integration Analyst from the think-tank ISIS, on the priorities of the new government on the economic front. He discusses the key things that the new government will have to do in order to maintain economic growth against the backdrop of severely dampening private consumption, and what has to be continued from the previous government in order to assist minority groups.
