40 Years With 4AD

4AD is a much respected independent record label that rose to prominence in the 1980s, making a name for themselves within the post-punk, alternative-rock, indie sphere and beyond. To celebrate their 40th anniversary, the label released an 18- track compilation album that features covers from the 4AD catalog. Simon Halliday, managing director of 4AD joins us to reminisce on the label’s accomplishments over the years and shares his perspective on how to remain relevant in the music industry.
