By The Way: Roblox Universe, Twitch To Host WMG Music Programs, Swedish House Mafia x IKEA, R.I.P Dr. Lonnie Smith

By The Way is a rapid-fire segment that gives you a snapshot of developing stories in the music world. This week, Roblox announced a new partnership with a major record label in light of their effort to enhance their music library. Twitch partnering up with Warner Music Group (WMG) to host original music programs. Swedish House Mafia collaborating with IKEA to craft furniture that enhances one’s music listening experience at home. We also pay tribute to the late Dr. Lonnie Smith, legendary Hammond organist, who recently passed away at the age of 79.
