By The Way: De La Soul Available Online Soon!, SOPs Upon Entry To Music Festivals, Stevie Nicks Shutting Down Performances, Vaccine Drama Continues

By The Way is a rapid-fire segment that gives you a snapshot of developing stories in the music world. This week, American hip hop trio De La Soul’s full catalog is finally hitting all streaming platforms this year after being in legal limbo for several years. The Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival and Summer Festival will take place as scheduled this coming September featuring the likes of Foo Fighters, Twenty One Pilots, Chance The Rapper, and more. However, both festivals will require Covid vaccination proof or a negative Covid test upon entry. Meanwhile, American singer-songwriter Stevie Nicks has canceled five forthcoming festivals citing coronavirus concerns. Lastly, Queen’s Brian May chimed in on Eric Clapton’s stance on vaccines.
