Rajesh Kumar

Rajesh Kumar has been a sound engineer, lecturer, musician and longtime biker. His lecturing started off as a hobby when he was 16 years old, teaching the drums to others. It led him to a few spots before becoming a full-time lecturer in a local university. Knowledge is power and Rajesh understand the strength it wields as he shares it with his students.

 

As a sound engineer, Rajesh worked with Michael Veerapan and Freddie Fernandez in their respective studios before. He’s worked with artists like Siti Nurhaliza, Fauzi Marzuki, Zainal Abidin, Mawi and event the Alleycats.

 

His next step was to spread over to TV & radio commercial work and he picked up a few awards along the way. One of his proudest moments was winning Ad Asia’s Green Awards as Best Musical Director. He’s also a big time motorcycle rider, having taken long rides all the way to Pattaya.

 

As a musician, he’s the currently band leader, drummer and arranger for Orkes Padu alongside Azmyl Yunor.

 

For the record, Rajesh scored 25!
