Kavin Jay, Comedian

Kavin Jay

One of Malaysia’s most underrated comics and a former Radio Announcer at RedFM, is a rapid-fire grumpy joke telling machine. He may be grouchy but does it with such panache, you can’t help but laugh. He is an integral part of the comedy revolution in Malaysia and a regular host and performer for TimeOut KL Comedy Thursday.

Since his first performance in 2006, Kavin has grown in leaps and bounds and is involved in many major comedy shows and projects. In 2010, he performed in a 15,000 strong St Patrick’s Day celebration with much success and is one of the favourite performers in The Comedy Club KL.

Kavin marks 2012 as a major year for his career as a stand-up comedian and has been booked for more than a dozen shows. He was the opening act for "Kumar: Live in KL" with a 3000 strong audience. He recently just performed in Laugh Die You II : The Mob alongside with Gurmit Singh, Harith Iskander, Fakkah Fuzz and Jonathan Arterton.

He has just recently joined Maharaja Lawak Mega and be excited to see him perform there!
