Elizabeth Tan

Tonight we’ve had a woman whose career was entirely shaped by Youtube. From posting song covers back in 2013, to being on adverts and music videos and now even her own single in the span of two years, Elizabeth Tan is a social force to be reckoned with.

A KL girl through and through, she left for Dallas, Texas for two years for her studies. Everything was moving along quietly for Elizabeth until one day in December 2013, she posted a cover of Joe Flizzow’s Havoc on Youtube and the Malaysian public went wild for her.

Soon, she was called up by radio stations to perform live featuring Joe Flizzow himself! Quickly enough, she was signed under Faizal Tahir’s record label. With the label, Eilzabeth released her first single titled Setia featuring Faizal Tahir, which launched earlier this month.

She also sang and featured in Goldfish & Blink’s latest music video single, Somewhere New.

Aside from music, Elizabeth has been trying to venture out into the acting industry as she was handpicked by local director Mamat Khalid for Usop Wilcha Menghonjang Makhluk Muzium, set to be released on the 3rd September nationwide.

For the record, Elizabeth scored 12!
