Our Population – Managing The Future

"The growth of population in urban centres is quite worrying. I don't think enough thought is put into urban density living," said Hezri Adnan. Rapid urbanisation has changed the nation's population dynamics in terms of fertility, mortality, and migration. BFM spoke to several speakers at the "National Population Conference on the Inter-Relationship Between Population Dynamics and Development". We survey some of the recommended policies offered as solutions to the challenges of managing population growth and change in our country.

This is a report by Alexandra Lok.
