Musings of a Malayan

In 2004, Singaporean writer and adventurer Sudhir Vadaketh decided to go on a one-month biking trip with a friend around the Malaysian Peninsula to find out if his romanticized Malayan term still exists. He curated that experience, as well as a more critical look on the relationship between the two neighbours in a book aptly titled "Floating on a Malayan Breeze". As part of our SG50 special programming, we have a chat on that, as well as what the media industry from both countries can learn from each other.

This report was produced by Aisyah Tajuddin, Aziff Azuddin, Sharyl Kaur, and Muhammad Haniff Baharudin.
