Is TV News Dying?

Once upon a time, folks used to sit in front of the television at prime time to catch the news, but has social media killed the habit? People are starting to move away from staring at the television screen for news and have replaced it with smaller screens, their phones and laptops, for quicker access to the news. So, is TV news still relevant in this day and age where news can be accessed at our fingertips? Can the medium compete with social media and online portals? We explore.

This report was produced by Sharyl Kaur, Aisyah Tajuddin, Aziff Azuddin and Muhammad Haniff Baharudin.
