Safehouse is a multipurpose space nestled in Kuala Lumpur that aims to provide refuge for creative talents within our local community. From hosting live music events to workshops, the brand aspires to contribute to the growth of the art scene in Malaysia. Founded by five passionate individuals, Safehouse had its fair share of hurdles to keep the brand afloat during the pandemic. We speak to Alisya Fairuz, co-founder of Safehouse to gain insight on the current art scene, goals of the initiative, and plans of action to move forward.
