Retro Review - Metal Gear Solid

In conjunction with the release of Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Volume 1 this week, we take a look back at the game that got the ball rolling in the 3D era, Metal Gear Solid. From cinematic cutscenes to epic storylines and unique gameplay moments, Metal Gear Solid laid the foundation for what proved to be a very successful franchise for Konami and its creator, Hideo Kojima. We recall our experience playing the game and what made it so great and memorable.
