Grand Theft Auto 5 - 10 Years Later

It’s been 10 years since Michael, Franklin, Trevor came to our lives and changed the landscape of the open-world gaming genre. The cynical among us might have grown tired of Rockstar’s insistence on remastering Grand Theft Auto 5 through two generations of consoles, as well as the massive popularity of GTA Online that led to the game, perhaps overstaying its welcome, but no one can deny the cultural impact, legacy and staying power of this iteration of GTA. We reflect on GTA 5’s longevity and footprint in the gaming world in conjunction with its 10th anniversary.
