BMW Malaysia's Last Manual Car On Sale Was An MPV

This week, we put the spotlight on Proton's Certified other Pre-Owned (CPO) business that they're calling Used Car Management (UCM). It's been introduced to persuade owners of older Protons to give up their cars for a newer model at an attractive price. Also in the news, we discuss Volkswagen's buyout of the Audi brand and talk around what that could mean for the VW Group's future.

As for our Used Car Buying Guide, we're putting the focus on BMW's first front-wheel drive and MPV - the BMW 2-series Active Tourer. Selling for roughly RM80,000 today, it's an often forgotten premium MPV that now costs about as much as any other 5-year old MPV out there - and that includes the Japanese makes. With premium build quality, materials and brand image, coupled with relatively low running costs, it's something to consider when you're looking out for a fashionable people carrier.

Oh, and did we mention that it has a manual gearbox too?
