S2E87: Mamba Out

The world was in utter shock at the sudden passing of basketball superstar, Kobe Bryant. A man who dedicated two decades of his life to the LA Lakers, won five NBA championships and is an 18-time all star. The 26th of January helicopter tragedy also took the life of his 13 year old daughter, Gianna and seven others.

Today’s episode of Bar None pays tribute to the extraordinary athlete and hero to many, including our guest for the week Rezhan Majid, an avid fan of basketball and the founder of social sports apps Sports Bandit and Huddle. We talked about his legacy, exceptional career, the Mamba mentality and how he inspires others.

As for The Good, The Bad & The Ugly – Dato’ Yeoh Choo Hock a.k.a the god father of Malaysian basketball chronicled his stories in a coffee-table book titled My Life, My Journey, JDT’s new promo kits sparked confusion among fans and the consequential effect of Corona virus on major sporting events.
