Road To Tokyo #2 - Khairul Anuar

After a year of not having tournaments, Malaysian archer Khairul Anuar Mohamad puts his focus on the upcoming Tokyo Olympics as he adapts to the different training regimes and approaches leading up to the event. The Malaysian athlete fought his way up the rankings, making him the first Malaysian ever to win a medal at an individual World Cup event back in the 2011 FITA Archery World Cup. We speak to Khairul to understand his journey and early beginnings with archery, preparation as he makes a return to the targets coming July, and his hopes for the sport in Malaysia moving forward.
