Bar None: S2E34 - Blood and Thunder

Boxing is a relatively old sport, but its popularity in Malaysia has always been diminutive. Malaysian boxers who stay in the game are few and far in between but Theena “Thunder” Thayalan hopes his career in boxing will supersede this notion. With 98 amateur and five professional wins under his belt, Theena hopes to make his mark on the Malaysian boxing scene at his upcoming welterweight championship fight at the Axiata Arena in the Pacquiao vs. Matthysse match. Theena and his manager Anil Kumar join us this week on Bar None, discussing Theena’s journey from an amateur to a professional boxer and setting the stage for the upcoming welterweight storm.
