Renaissance, Ram & Recovery

This round of A Bit of Culture features litterateur Pauline Fan and once again BFM producer Michael Gong together with our host, Kam Raslan. The Harlem Renaissance, Pauline expounds on the intellectual revival of art, bringing us back to a powerful movement in African American literary history where musical, theatrical, literary, and visual arts were embraced. Then, Michael utters on the years of the Commodore 64s, the early days of 1 MHz processors and 64k bit RAM chips where computers were used for experimenting and of course, to play games. Lastly, the trio talks through ways we as individuals cope with the passing of a beloved one, how the different stages of grief allow for acceptance, and the space to move forward.
