Boss, Surat Khabar Satu!

This week on your favourite dose of pop culture enlightenment, Vernon Adrian Emuang returns to the show with a bone to pick on the language we use to address migrant workers. Do we ever stop to think about who the real ‘Boss’ is? Then, Uma, back from his venture at the Singapore Writer’s Festival, gives some insight on the fact that while we have no shortage of people willing to write, do we still have enough people willing to read? Lastly, Kam rounds up the episode by giving the other two a short history lesson on his findings in newspaper bias, while realising that a lot of the media framing we see today has always been around.
