Changing Of The Guard In Taiwan

William Lai was officially inaugurated as Taiwan's President on Monday, replacing two-term predecessor Tsai Ing-Wen. This marks a historical third consecutive win for the ruling Democratic Progressive Party that is known for their sovereignty tilt. We speak to Dr. Lee Chee Leong, Senior Lecturer at the Institute of China Studies, Universiti Malaya for his take on the future China-Taiwan relations under the new leadership and the risk of escalating conflict.
