With Malaysia’s medical inflation gradually increasing annually, affordability of private healthcare continues to remain a concern. Even worse, insurance premiums are now expected to rise by 40% to 70% next year, which prompts the question as to why it has become so excessive. YB Tuan Sim Tze Tzin, Member of Parliament for Bayan Baru shares his perspective and how we need to address this moving forward.
