The Ministry of Health is looking to introduce a Good Samaritan Law which offers legal protection to individuals who act in good faith to help others in emergencies. Shanti Abraham, Immediate Past President, Medico-Legal Society of Malaysia tells us why it's timely to introduce this law and what needs to be done in conjunction with it to ensure its efficacy.
