Malaysia is currently experiencing one of the worst floods since 2014, as a result of the annual northeast monsoon, with some 150,000 people evacuated to flood relief centres at its peak. Kelantan and Terengganu on the peninsula's east coast are the most affected states. Dato’ Dr Ahmad Faizal Mohd Perdaus, president of MERCY Malaysia talks to us about the relief work that has been going on and where some of the shortcomings are.
