The 1MDB Saga Continues: Gomen v Goldman

The Morning Run crew gives you their take on today's business headlines:

The Malaysian government has filed criminal charges against Goldman Sachs over its involvement in the 1MDB scandal.

Goldman fired back at the charges, alleging through a spokesperson Michael DuVally, that members of the former Malaysian government and 1MDB lied to them about how the money would be used.

Goldman also alleged that 1MDB - whose CEO and Board reported to the Prime Minister at the time - gave written assurances to Goldman for each transaction that no intermediaries were involved.
