 e-Wallets Up For Grabs

The Morning Run crew gives you their take on today's business headlines:

Grab just announced that its drivers can collect their earnings via the GrabPay mobile wallet, as soon as each work shift ends. This news comes on the back of GrabPay going live in Singapore a few days ago.

6:18 - On a similar note, Astro Malaysia Holdings Bhd also just announced that its Astro Go Shop has partnered Digi-X to offer an e-Cash on Delivery (e-COD) solution, vcash, to 1.2 million customers. It certainly is game on for the e-wallet race in the region.

8:26 - None of the local firms fulfil all the technical experience criteria required to qualify for the lead contractor’s role to build the third mass rapid transit line (MRT3) on a turnkey basis. This is according to a preliminary analysis by Nomura Securities Malaysia Sdn Bhd.
