The Real Property Development Bill is a new law the Housing & Local Government Ministry plans to table in Parliament in June 2026, to replace the Housing Development Act 1966. Marcus Teng, CEO of PropNex Malaysia, talks to us why he thinks this is a very timely and long overdue initiative to create a modern, comprehensive regulatory real estate framework.
