Ports, On the Frontline, Report: 'It's Life, Jim, But Not As We Know It'

Lockdown may have ended but the pandemic has devastated the economy and set it back by 2-3 years and growth may only recover though not to stellar 2019 levels beginning 2021. The big uncertainty remains the possibility of a second wave.

Datuk Ruben Emir Gnanalingam Bin Abdullah, Managing Director of the Klang-based port operator, Westports Holdings Bhd, discusses these issues, plus other items like its expansion plan, concession agreement, dividend policy and bright spots, like its mainly intra-Asia and Asia-Europe trade.
