A recent spate of deaths in police custody has made headlines over the past two months and raised concerns over why this keeps happening. Furthermore, custodial deaths appear to be an issue disproportionately affecting the Indian community- so we speak to Klang MP YB Charles Santiago and former SUHAKAM commissioner Prof Datuk Dr Denison Jayasooria, to try and unpack the reasons behind this.
