Clearer Skies Ahead For GE Engine Services

The pandemic may have ravaged the global aviation industry but there are clear signs of recovery, giving impetus to the KL, Malaysia-based maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) business belonging to the 125-year-old US industrial conglomerate General Electric.

Suresh Shunmugam, the Managing Director of General Electric Engine Services Malaysia, discusses the local MRO business, the health of local airlines (whom it serves) and the future of engine technology.
