However, over the last half century, the topic on developing Islamic economy has been dominated by the role of Islamic finance, and within that, Islamic banking. To tell us about the larger elements of what Islamic Economics can bring to the world, we speak to Prof. Aslam Haneef, Director of the Centre of Islamic Economics, IIUM.
