Creative industries contribute 1.6% to the GDP, and through this investment arm , it aims to boost it further. Established in 2012, the initial funding was RM200 million, and this year MyCreative is targeting to invest between RM50 and RM60 million to finance up to 25 companies. Is this public money well spent and where has the arm taken us in what is essentially a global conversation on the creative class and its role in growth story.
