Beyond the Calais Jungle

Leading the news agenda over the last week has been the destruction of what has come to be known as the Calais Jungle - a name given by the refugees and asylum seekers of a make-shift camp that came to house thousands, waiting for a chance to cross over to the United Kingdom. But this isn't the first time that this camp has been closed down since it was first set up 2002 by refugees and asylum seekers who had been displaced by closure of Sangatte camp near Calais. Today we discuss a story that isn’t going away as millions are displaced by war and conflict.
