Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin is undergoing a 14-day home quarantine and has assured that he will continue to perform his duties. It does however raise questions about succession planning as it is unprecedented that Malaysia does not have a designated Deputy Prime Minister. Lim Wei Jiet, constitutional lawyer discusses the constitutional conventions and the possible scenarios.
