Wong Yan Ke, Activist and Former President of Universiti Malaya Association of New Youth (UMANY) makes the case why it is now high time for the Higher Education Ministry to repeal the Universities and University Colleges Act 1971 (AUKU), provide greater autonomy for campus elections and transparency in the appointment of vice-chancellors and managing boards.
