Alex Chia, Head of Regional Equity Research of RHB Group tells us that there were more misses than hits for the 3rd quarter corporate result season while external risk especially the US-China trade war will continue to put downward pressure on the Malaysian equity market. However, there were some sector picks which include construction and plantations but a bottom up strategy is still the way to go with a focus on value and resilient growth.
