The Singapore Straits Times Index staged a last minute rally in the last week of June to end the 1st half of the year up 5.8%. Geoff Howie, Market Strategist, Singapore Exchange gives the reasons for this and if we can expect the same in the 2nd half whilst also weighing in on what growth we can expect for the economy as the city state is set to announce 2nd GDP data this week.
