Some 30 million people in the UK will vote in the general election, with the latest polls suggesting that neither side will command a majority. On the table is government austerity, membership of the European Union and even Scottish independence. Dr Katherin Dommentt is the Deputy Director of the newly created Sir Bernard Crick Centre at the University of Sheffield, which is the world's first research centre for the study of public understanding of politics. She talks about why this is the least predictable elections the UK has ever seen.
