Syrian Children Under Toxic Stress

Children in Syria are suffering from “toxic stress” - a severe form of psychological trauma that can disrupt the development of the brain and increase the risk of mental health disorders in adulthood. This was recently revealed by "Invisible Wounds," a report by Save The Children.

The research, said to be the largest of its kind, studies the mental health and well-being of Syrian children growing up through the war.

Today on Current Affairs, BFM explores the mental health crisis among children in Syria.

This is a report by Emir Zainul.
