Child Marriage - Too Young To Wed?

Statistics from the Women, Family and Community Development Ministry estimate that over one thousand underage girls applied for marriage licenses in 2015. In reality, the numbers may be much higher. Around the world, there is evidence that child, early and forced marriage poses significant harm to girls, rendering them vulnerable to abuse.

Today on Current Affairs, we explore the core problem with child marriage and ways to eliminate it.

This is a report by Sharyl Kaur and Lyn Mak.
