Stepping Aside for Anwar, but Sidestepping Democracy?

Later today PKR secretary-general Datuk Saifuddin Nasution is expected to announce the parliamentary seat in which Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim will be contesting, in his bid to return to Dewan Rakyat.

Speculation has been focused on the Port Dickson seat, which is held by Datuk Danyal Balagopal Abdullah, PKR’s sole member of parliament in Negeri Sembilan.

Ibrahim Suffian, the Programme Director of the independent pollster, Merdeka Center, helps us cut through the chatter ahead of the announcement.

Presented by: Melisa Idris, Tan Chung Han, Joyce Goh
