Top 5 at 5: New Sex-Ed Module to Curb Teen Pregnancies

Minister of Education Fadhlina Sidek has announced that the Reproductive and Social Health Education (PEERS) module will be integrated into school curriculums by 2027 to tackle the growing issue of teen pregnancies in Malaysia. We speak with Jasmine Rajah, a member of the Reproductive Rights Advocacy Alliance Malaysia, to learn more about this comprehensive sexuality education initiative.

· Popek Popek Parlimen: In today’s Dewan Rakyat session, MPs debated measures to curb fake social media accounts spreading misinformation. There was also a heated exchange over Chinese-language signboards, discussions on government aid for places of worship, and new application guidelines for such assistance.
