Top 5 at 5: Finding The Right University For You

School's out, and you're finally entering the world of higher education. There's so much to consider, from what major you'd like to pursue, as well as which university would give you the best oppoturnities for you. It's not easy to make this choice, despite the countless career fairs and sessions one might go through with school counselors. Jason Pandya-Wood, Dean of Arts and Social Sciences of Nottingham University Malaysia, joins us to unpack all of this.

Other stories we covered today:

· Under 30s Struggling To Meet EPF's Minimum Savings: The Khazanah Research Institute released a report that revealed how only those within the top income bracket in the below 30 age group have the required amount needed for basic retirement. We hear thoughts from Professor Dr Hafezali Iqbal Hussain, a professor at the Faculty of Business and Law, Taylor’s University

· Orang Asli Boy's Death In Custody: A mother from an Orang Asli tribe in Pahang is demanding answers for her son’s custodial death, which happened in May this year, where a 25-year-old man, Norazman Me, from the Jakun tribe in Pahang was arrested on suspicion of stealing a motorcycle and was found dead in his cell 3 days later. We speak to Sevan Doraisamy, executive director of SUARAM about this.

· Tourism Ministry to Review Check In/Out Times: There's been a lot of clamour over check-in and check-out hours of some local hotels, some only began allowing guests to check in at 4pm and to check out at 11am. Tourism Minister Datuk Seri Tiong King Sing has responded and said that he would be looking into this. We hear from Yap Lip Seng, the chief executive officer of Riyaz Hotels & Resorts and former chief executive officer of the Malaysian Association of Hotels for his thoughts.

· Punishing Serial Litterbugs: Housing and Local Government Minister Nga Kor Ming has announced that new legislation to tackle littering will be tabled in Parliament next year. It would introduce community service and fines, for repeat offenders. Dr Wan Saudisani, KL chapter leader of Trash Hero KL weighs in on this.
