Top 5 At 5: A Landslide Win for the Labour Party

5. The term 'rodent boyfriend' has taken the internet by storm, a phrase used to describe unconventionally attractive men who, according to the internet, have "rodent-like" features. Apparently, they're seen as the most physically desirable thing a man can be at this moment, with the popularity of Hollywood actors like Mike Faist, Josh O'Connor (stars of Challengers), Jeremy Allen White and Barry Keoghan, among others. There have been criticisms, that trends aimed to reframe men's looks are almost never extended to women. We get into all this.

4. The extremist network, Jemaah Islamiyah has officially called it quits, according to a video featuring prominent members of their senior council, marking a significant shift for the organisation. Munira Mustaffa, CEO of the Chasseur Group weighs in on whether this dissolution was expected and its implications.

3. On the eve of World Firefly Day, we're taking a look at why the firefly population matters for environmental sustainability, and how modernisation is threatening the firefly species. Dr Wan Faridah Akmal Jusoh, the Co-Chair of the IUCN Species Survival Commission Firefly Specialist Group tells us what we can do to reverse the fate of endangered fireflies.

2. The newly released Auditor General report has revealed flaws in government-linked agencies, including the abuse of funds by the National Professors Council and mismanagement of hundreds of millions of Ringgit involving training grants, investments and property purchases by HRD Corp. Raymon Ram, secretary-general of Transparency International Malaysia shares his thoughts.

1. Our top story: We take a deep dive into the results of the recent UK elections, which saw the win of the Labour Party. For this, we speak to Katy Brown, a Postdoctoral Fellow from Maynooth University.
