Latest reports show that over 2000 domestic violence cases were recorded nationwide between January and April this year, with housewives taking the brunt of them. We speak to Mangleswary Subramaniam, program manager of Women’s Empowerment and Leadership Division of the Penang Women’s Development Corporation for better insights into the realities behind the reports.
