Does Filial Piety Have A Place In Modern Families?

We’re kicking off with the first episode of our monthly debate show. Tonight debaters Muqriz and Cheng will go head to head to debate whether filial piety has a place in modern families. The topic was inspired by recent headlines about Brooklyn Beckham, who spoke publicly about a rift with his parents. In the final half of the episode, judge Emellia Shariff delivers her verdict and declares a winner.

This show is in collaboration with MIDP Youth Institute, previously known as the Malaysian Institute for Debate & Public Speaking. You can find them on their website, Instagram, Facebook and Linkedin.
